None on this earth satisfied
‘Til on my heart, Your blood applied
Like nothing I had ever felt before.
Your mercy was b’yond all I’d dreamed
And nothing could go wrong, it seemed.
Still Your kindness lifts me safely o’er.
How glad I am that You forget
All the things I’ve done and yet
I wish my heart and mind were always sure.
‘Cause life won’t go my way sometime
Must rest upon Your strength, divine
And trust Your plan for me is still in store.
Breathe Your breath upon me, Lord
‘Til Your salvation’s gift’s assured
And You are everything that I adore.
So to the Son I’ll lift my face
Cast in Your splendor and Your grace,
My worst undone all to begin again.
